Hi, I am a Lesotho national and I would like to book an appointment for a South African Study Permit application. I am currently enrolled at an American University but I will be spending a semester at the University of Cape Town from January to July, can I get an appointment in the last week of December or early January? Also regarding the police clearance requirement, is it okay if I only bring one from the United States as I have not lived in Lesotho for the past 5 years? Best regards, Nchome Kotelo
Good morning, I hope this message finds you well. I am a British National, currently working for NHS England in Lesotho for 6 months. I have applied for a temporary residence permit and I am currently awaiting approval from Immigration at Office of Home Affairs. I am planning a 2 week trip to Cape Town, starting 5th October 2023 and wish to cross the land border at Maseru Bridge, travel to Bloemfontein and then fly from Bloemfontein to Cape Town. I know that when I crossed the land border at Ficksburg I only received a 7 day visitor permit and for this trip I will require longer than this. I was hoping to book an appointment with the SA High Commision to apply for a 90 day multi-entry visa so I can travel to South Africa via land and stay for my intended trip duration of 2 weeks. Would this be possible please? Many thanks, Mica
